In this episode, I share a recent Google Hangout appearance with Alicia Dunams on Visual Marketing for Business. This podcast is a montage of my input on smartphone photography for business at the event.
I took part in Alicia’s lifechanging Bestseller in a Weekend Course to launch my first book, and Alicia had a fun contest to share your experience of writing your book, from the manuscript, content, book cover, back cover, you name it. The contest was to share a photo of you in social media behind the scenes as you take the course using the hashtag #bestsellerweekend. I ended up creating lots of photos, and even created a movie that I shared on Instagram. My visual marketing campaign was a huge success, and I won the coveted Kindle. I can’t wait to see my book on it when I launch this month! (For more on Bestseller in a weekend, you can check out a free webinar.)
I truly believe one of the most important things about visual marketing is that you have to create things that people want to see, like and share. Creating engagement is critical for your success in social media marketing. And posts with visuals create 94% more visits and engagement than those without. (Source: http://Business2Community.com)
